People of India love to have a bath every day to keep themselves clean and healthy. But taking bath during winters becomes difficult as many avoid having it daily. One reason behind it is cold weather while the other is requirement of hot water. This hot-water requirement is fulfilled by geysers, which come in two types namely instant and storage.
Now let me tell you a bit about each one of them, to help you understand the difference between them; and to help you choose which one would you like to buy to fulfil your requirements.
I’m Atul (Product Reviewer & Analyst from Dehradun). I keep on the lookout to provide some of the best product reviews for people & help them choose the right ones according to their requirements.
Instant geysers as the name suggests, are the ones which provide you with hot water instantly. They are small in size & meant for kitchens and sinks. They take 1 to 3 minutes to heat the water depending on the coldness of water which might range from 5℃ to 22℃ during winters. These instant geysers have low storage capacity ranging from 1 to 3 litres and you can switch them on before use &off after use. Storage geysers are the ones that have capacity to hold water in larger volume. These are bigger in size and need sufficient space to be installed. They take time from 15 minutes to 30 minutes depending upon the amount of water in their storage tanks. This may be from 6 to50 litres. Once the water is heated, you must take it all out at once. If you don’t do that, then cold water will flow in its tank and mix with the remaining hot water, resulting in mild warm water. To get an idea of storage water geysers, you can click here
In order to give you more details about both types of Geysers, I have prepared a Comparison chart
